What’s the difference between a campaign and a widget?
A campaign is the fundraiser (goal, story, dedications). A widget is what you embed. One campaign can power several widgets.
Can I use Sharity without embedding on my site?
Yes. Use the widget share link as a donate URL, or share the campaign page link from the campaign builder.
Why can’t donors check out?
Usually Stripe Connect isn’t finished (you need charges and payouts enabled), the widget isn’t linked to a campaign, or fundraising is paused. See Donors can’t complete checkout.
Do you process payments?
Stripe processes cards and ACH. Sharity may also take a platform fee depending on your plan. You receive payouts to the bank account on your connected Stripe account. See Platform fees vs Stripe processing fees.
Can I import WooCommerce donations?
Yes on a paid plan. Use a write API key and send completed WooCommerce orders into Sharity. Those gifts show a WooCommerce badge in Donations. See WordPress and WooCommerce.
Are donor photos public immediately?
The default is require approval. Review pending photos on Overview. You can switch a widget to auto-publish if you accept that responsibility.
Emails aren’t sending.
Connect SMTP under Emails. Preview before sending campaigns. Starter and Growth are required for email campaigns and automations; confirmation emails still need SMTP. See Emails aren’t sending.
I hit a campaign or widget limit.
Upgrade in Settings → Billing, or remove unused widgets/campaigns if you are at your plan cap. See I hit my campaign or widget limit.
How do I hide “Powered by Sharity”?
Spark can hide branding on widgets. Starter and Growth hide it by default.
